Want to enjoy a great crisp wine on a warm summer day? May I make a suggestion then. I thoroughly enjoyed this particular wine and find myself during the warmer weather wanting to purchase it again.
I highly recommend Weingut Stadt Krems as a great tasting crisp summer white wine. This vinyard has been around for over 550 years. It is claimed to be the oldest wine producer in Austria and throughout the whole of Europe.
I have pulled some info off of their website to check it out for yourself. Enjoy!
The variety I enjoyed was the Sandgrube '05 Gruner Veltliner:
